I was born in raised in Tyler and attended Chapel Hill ISD. At an early age, I always knew I would be an attorney. After graduating high school I moved to Austin, TX. I attended the University of Texas and graduated with honors, earning a degree in BS Applied Learning and Develop. After completing my undergrad studies I moved to Houston and attending South Texas College of Law. I obtained my JD in 2003 and graduated Magna Cum Laude, top 10% of my class.

I began my legal career in Houston working for one of the nations largest insurance firms. This provided me an opportunity to experience a vast amount of jury trials. After having years of trial experience I was able to obtain my board certification in personal injury trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. I then started working for a well respected Houston attorney handling his more complex litigation cases.

During the time I worked in Houston I also got married and had my first two of three children. Houston was obviously not a place we wanted to raise our children in. 

In 2011 my two youngest children were ready to start school and we made the choice to move back to Tyler. At the end of 2011, I opened up my law office in Tyler, Texas. 

Since 2011 I have been handling both family law matters in personal injury cases throughout the East Texas region
